Hello everyone,
I have been enjoying the warm weather. Since I lost the weight, I am cold a lot and especially since my husband wants the house so cool or cold to me.
I have been working in my flowers and pulling weeds. Doing some little painting jobs that needed to be done.
The biggest event was when my cat, Fluffy went off for 8 days and I just knew she was dead somewhere and then she shows up…. Too my delight. She had to be taken to the vet because she just wasn’t acting right. Acted like she was so scared. She had a urinary tract infection and took 2 rounds of Clavomox and the vet said she didn’t have any food in her stomach and probably hadn’t had any thing to drink. For a couple of weeks, she wouldn’t go outside. She is now starting to go out again.
She will go out though if a storm is coming. She goes somewhere and hides, but she has always done this. She comes back after the rain and storm is over until next time. I have been so worried about her … something really tramatized her and I am so glad she is doing better now. She is 5 years old and so beautiful. She is a maine coon and I will try and post a picture of her posted here. Gracie my other cat has been very nice almost as if she knows Fluffy was sick.

My blog got deleted and my friend, Karen has set me up another one with the same name. My bluehost had expired and they deleted my blog on in July sometime. I found out when I went to post something today and there was no “Tina’s Treasured Thoughts” site. Wow, was I surprised. It seems they sent me an email, but it went to an old email address and so I never knew it has expired.
I didn’t think to keep up when my expiration date was or to let them know that I had a new email address. Imagine my surprise. I printed out all my old archives that Karen was able to get for me and I will post some of them back, but not many.
Since I am on Facebook now, I just didn’t post as much on my blog anymore. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day and do try to have a wonderful life. We only get one time around. I am trying my best to enjoy all the yrs. I have left.

Too Long

Well, hello everyone………….
I have been gone too long. I am doing great from my by-pass surgery. I have now lost 78 lbs., feeling great, looking so much better, getting new clothes, and I would say Life Is Good !!!!
We [my husband Jack & I] have done 2 Lay Witness Missions and doing one at Hermitage, Tennessee on the 25th of this month. The theme is “Pass It On”.
News about one of the past missions:
It was at McMinnville, TN and I do a meeting with the women on Saturday afternoon and so my presentation was on the new little book that Max Lucado has recently put out about “God Thinks You Are Wonderful”. I had purchased many of the gift items he has available and had a gift bag for each lady [around 40] and talked about my own experience and how I know now that God does think I am wonderful.
It was such a blessing to do and to see the results of that meeting. On the one coming up, I am doing the box of love gift and have made one for each lady, but this is a large church and this has been a challenge. I will probably have 200 women on Saturday and it has taken a lot of effort to get all these gifts made. I am still working on them, but such joy to give.
When God said, “it is more blessed to give than to receive”, he certainly knew what he was talking about. Why would I ever doubt that? lol
Well, take care and I will be back soon, hopefully not as long as this last stretch. Oh yes, I am finishing up the last afghan to send to Shelley at This Electric Life on Share A Square.
Making some bags for my quilt blocks that I am working on and finishing up some crocheted afghans that I am also working on.
Don’t want any moss growing under my feet ……… lol

Forgot Something

Probably the one thing that does make me slow down is that this is Monday and every Monday evening @ 6:30 we have a Bible Study here in our home and it is the one time for sure that I have to slow down and learn something about the lesson. We have studied many studies and at this present time, we are studying “If You Want To Walk On Water, You Gotta Get Out of The Boat”. It takes a lot of courage sometimes to get out of the boat, what ever your boat is. We pray for each other and have refreshments and it is a very good time of fellowship.
